2016 Michigan League of Handweavers: 19th Biennial Fiber Show

The Michigan League of Handweavers presents their Biennial Fiber Show for 2016. Juror, Phyllis Fredendall, Professor of Fiber Art and Fashion Design at Finlandia University's International School of Art and Design in Hancock, Michigan awarded prizes for Best in Show, Fiber Art, and Functional Fiber, along with many honorable mention prizes.

Fiber Arts Awards: First Place, Tendril Form by Heather Robinson; Second place, Ripples by Terry Tarnow; Third Place, Detroit Gateway to Utopia by Sharon Weltner
Functional Fiber Awards: First Place, Twill Two Step by Julie Hurd; Second Place, Monet's Iris Garden by Marta G. Williams; Third Place, Iridescence by Lestra Hazel.
