Inuit Cultural Tours

Ongoing - Permanent Installation

The Inuit Cultural Tour program is built around the Dennos Museum Center's collection of Inuit Art and Michigan State Social Studies and Art Curriculum standards. It combines art production, hands-on learning, games and aesthetics to engage students with the Inuit people. Through connecting and learning about Inuit culture, students internalize and apply the concept that art reflects culture.

Eric Daigh: Happiness is a Target

December 4, 2011 - April 1, 2012

Portraitist Eric Daigh presents a collection of works spanning his career to date. Claiming to be a photographer sometimes and a painter at others, Daigh is probably best placed in the category of mosaic. His works often include an arrangement of small pixels, most notably pushpins that form a larger picture.

Video Art by Lee nam Lee

Select works are on exhibit in the Discovery Gallery through March 15

Lee nam Lee draws upon art historical images and through the use of digital technology and his creativity offers a new interpretation of them as works of art.
