Become A Docent!
A docent is a volunteer who guides visitors through learning activities
at the museum.
Join the Dennos Museum Center docents!
The
Dennos Museum Center welcomes community enthusiasts to join our dynamic
docent training program. Docents actively engage visitors in learning
about art. Guided by the Curator of Education and Interpretation, docents
explore the who, what, where, when, how, why and the wonders of the visual
arts and sciences. Together docents study the Museum's remarkable exhibitions
and collections and consider the challenges of contemporary art. Docents
engage school children, NMC students and the general public in discussions
about the Museum's permanent collection and changing exhibitions.
