Mississippi Heat

mississippi heatsaturday, January 11, 2014

Mississippi Heat is a well-travelled band hailing from Chicago. They play heartfelt vintage Chicago Blues, and they are led by world-class harmonicist Pierre Lacocque. Pierre is one of the most soulful harmonicists on the scene today! The band has 10 recordings to date, all of which have received critical acclaims. Their last recording, Delta Bound (2012) reached the #1 spot on world-wide radio stations, including here in the US. This exciting band is also fronted by the wonderful Inetta Visor. Ms. Visor vocal ranges are reminiscent of Etta James. Maestro Michael Dotson handles the guitar and singing chores. This is a class act that won't leave you unmoved!
