A Contemporary Perspective: What's it worth? Brown-Bag

Tuesday, March 20, 2012, 12:00 – 1:30 pm

This panel, will explore the mysterious and controversial subject of what art is worth, in monetary and cultural terms.  How do artists and galleries set prices for works of art?  How do we measure the importance of an active cultural community?  Participating artists will include Lindy Bishop, Rufus Snoddy, Troy DeShano, Dan Lisuk, Dick Davis, and Ginnie Cappaert.

Community members are invited to join local artists for panel discussions about the nature of the arts in Northwestern Michigan.  Please bring a brown-bag lunch to enjoy during the conversation.
