A Contemporary Perspective: Artists' Intent Brown-Bag

This panel, will explore the intent of local contemporary artists featured in the Northwest Michigan Juried Exhibition when they create a work of art.  How does an artist’s intent impact the viewer?  Is it important or not?   Participating artists will include Dewey Blocksma, Angela Saxon, Bill Allen, Joan Richmond, and Carol LaPorte.

Community members are invited to join local artists for panel discussions about the nature of the arts in Northwestern Michigan.  Please bring a brown-bag lunch to enjoy during the conversation.
