Celebrating Women as Spiritual – Brown Bag Lunch

Monday, November 8, 2010, 12:00 – 1:30 pm

Join us to celebrate women as spiritual leaders at this brown bag lunch, presented in collaboration with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Grand Traverse.  Northwestern Michigan College’s religion professor Misty Sheehan; Chava Bahle, rabbi, writer, and maggid (storyteller and inspirational preacher); and local spiritual leaders will be present to guide the discussion.

Rabbi Chava Bahle is the director of Or Tzafon, a center for spiritual and interfaith learning.  She teaches at NMC Extended Education and travels the country offering programs on contemplative living, interfaith dialogue and peace making.

Please bring your own lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.
