The Jack Sprat Low-Fat World Tour, a fun-filled musical production, drives home the importance of healthy eating in the fight against heart disease and obesity. Jack Sprat can eat no fat. His wife, Gloria, can eat no lean. So Jack decides it's time for Gloria to learn some healthy habits! He enlists the help of MC "Old Mutha" Hubbard, who rids Gloria's cupboard of junk food and takes her on a whirlwind tour of the grocery store, where Gloria learns a world of knowledge about good living through nutritious food choices.
This show is presented by The MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts Creativity at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Michigan State University, in collaboration with the MSU Department of Theatre.
Family Day art activities and gallery hunts in the Museum are included in the ticket price and will take place between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
