The museum has a strong tradition of support from volunteers. Approximately 160 volunteers are working in nearly every department of the Museum, providing services to visitors and assisting the professional staff behind the scenes. Volunteering is a great way to meet new and interesting people, learn more about art and support the Museum. See details below for more information.

Museum Education Assistants
Education Department Volunteers work independently and in committees on special projects with the Curator of Education. We currently need Education Department volunteers to help with Family Days (a great opportunity for families to volunteer together) and the Toddler Program. We are also looking for ushering assistance with our educational concerts and workshops. A desire to benefit the museum and the ability to work independently are the only qualifications.
