A Sense Of Place: Photographs from Northern Michigan Land Conservancies

Exhibit Dates: March 25, 2007 - June 3, 2007

This exhibit showcases the exceptional and beautiful acres of land that are preserved for the residents and visitors of northern Michigan.The Crooked Tree Arts Center of Petoskey organized the exhibition. They collaborated with Little Traverse Conservancy Leelanau Conservancy, Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, and the Headwaters Land Conservancy to produce the exhibition. Photographers were invited to the conservancy lands of these four organizations to photograph images for the exhibition.

The juror for the exhibit was Chris Walker, a native Michigander and who now calls Illinois his home. His work has been published in New Mexico Wildlife Magazine, New York Times, Outdoors Unlimited, and Chicago Tribune.
