Nexus - by Sally Rogers

Sculptor Sally Rogers attended NMC from 1978 to 1981, where she earned her Associate of Liberal Arts Degree. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit in 1984 and a M.F.A. from Kent State University in 1989.

"Nexus is a visual metaphor for the action of connecting or combining the various disciplines of the academic world, to achieve an integrated approach to education, " Rogers said. Her work has been widely exhibited in major museums and galleries in the US and Europe and she has been regularly written about in important arts publications. She is represented in numerous public and private art collections and has received many significant outdoor sculpture commissions.
