Revised 8/30/05

Museum Collections/Community Curators

Exhibit Dates: December 10, 2006 - March 4, 2007

What would you pick to show in an exhibition if you were given the opportunity to select a work from the museum's art collection to be shown in the museum's galleries? What would you say about why you picked it? The Dennos Museum Center invited a diverse group of people from the Grand Traverse region and the College community to do just that in an exhibition called Museum Collections/Community Curators. The result of this first time effort is an exhibition of works as varied as the people who selected them. The exhibition also represents the broad range of works in the collection from 19th century European prints to contemporary studio glass.
