Youth and Family Programming

The Dennos Museum Center offers a variety of program for youth and families, from youth activity guides for self-guided tours to Family Days.

Gallery Guides

Printed gallery hunts and guides are available for select exhibitions.  Inquire at the front desk for guides, clipboards and pencils.

Family Days

Families and friends are invited to participate in a creative Saturday. This special day includes various activities such as dance, movement, music, storytelling, creative writing and hands-on art relating to our current exhibitions. These interactive Saturdays engage your senses and broaden your understanding of the arts. Regular Museum admission applies. Free to Museum members.

scouting programs

Boy and Girl Scout troops can schedule tours and programs by calling (231) 995-1029. 

The Museum also collaborates with Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore to offer special programs.
