The Dennos Museum Center has partnered with a variety of community groups in creating a series of programs and events under the auspices of the Traverse City Human Rights Commission. In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Black History Month, and in conjunction with the exhibition, THEM: Images of Separation, these programs offer all members of the community multiple opportunities to learn and grow as peaceful and respectful citizens of a diverse nation.
All events are FREE and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
“Embrace The Dream” is being sponsored by DTE Energy Foundation and organized by the Traverse City Human Rights Commission and Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College (NMC).
