  • Dennos Museum Center Educational Tour Fund:
    • The Dennos Museum Center has two educational tour funds that help cover admission and travel costs for public and private K-12 school tours at the Dennos Museum Center. These funds are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis to schools that would not be able to fund trips in other ways. The tour must be scheduled before funds are applied for. To apply for these funds, download the grant request forms below and send them to dbolander@nmc.edu or mail to Education Department, Dennos Museum Center, 1701 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49686.
    • The General Tour Fund: Each year the Dennos Museum Center’s Museum Store holds a raffle during its Holiday Art Fair to feed the specially established MUSEUM EDUCATION TOUR FUND account. Individuals from the community have also donated money designated specifically for this fund. All funds in this account will be used to provide money for K-12 schools to cover travel costs and/or admission costs to the Dennos Museum Center for docent-led tours. Grant Request Form.
    • The Guyot Endowment for Scholarship and the Arts was established in 1993 Robert B. Guyot, III, to provide grants to cover travel costs and admission for Kalkaska Co. students in K-12 public, private, or parochial schools for cultural enrichment opportunities offered through the Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College.
